Fred Brown has years of executive leadership in the consumer technology industry. His track record of achievements include launching category creators iRobot’s Roomba, Fitbit, Dropcam and others. With a network of relationships with senior level industry decision-makers, he has evolved to become one of the foremost authority on Wearables.
His expertise in developing channels for innovative companies has helped many successfully bring their products to market, including Wearable innovators Basis/Intel, Thalmic Labs/Myo, Narrative and others.
Fred’s successful track record in launching and developing distribution channels for Wearable technology has resulted in him being selected as a judge in Intel’s Make It Wearable Challenge (http://www.makeit.intel.com/)
Justin Brown joined the Sightline Group with over 10 years of sales and business development experience; focused in the start-up sector and sustainable technologies. Justin has a successful track record of establishing new sales territories and opening sales channels for new technology companies.
Prior to joining The Sightline Group Justin was the head of sales and business development for companies ClearEdge Power and Blink where he led all sales efforts in the Bay Area.
Liz Madden has over 20 years of executive leadership in developing and managing technology industry events. She was a co-founder and Vice President/General Manager of RetailVision, which for nearly two decades was the premier international event in technology retailing, driving business and launching innovative new products into the consumer channel.
Liz has developed extensive market knowledge, sales and marketing expertise, and a vast network of relationships with key industry decision-makers. This network includes buyers, merchandise managers and executives from retailers, e-tailers and distributors throughout North America.
Liz received a B.S. in Applied Economics and Management from Cornell University.
Pete Janssen brings with him over 35 years of experience in retail and technology companies. His expertise spans product positioning, market validation, channel strategies, business development and product launches. Driving results in the area of business and sales strategy, and channel development are among his core competencies.
Pete Janssen, while VP of Merchandising and Marketing at Egghead Software, hired LVL Communications, to architect, build and operate, Egghead.com, one of the first online storefronts in the mid-1990’s. Egghead.com was the fastest growing and most profitable segment of Egghead’s business. In 1998, Egghead closed all of its brick and mortar stores and migrated its entire business online.
Previously, he was President of Pete Janssen and Associates where he helped companies develop and implement successful marketing and sales programs. Prior to his consulting career, Pete effectively served in executive level positions at several companies including Sears, Roebuck & Co., Mindset, WYSE, Nexgen Microsystems, Acer America, Software.
Chelsea Brown brings over 15 years of sales and marketing experience with a primary focus on brand management, product presentation, B2B sales and retail channel development with a focus on E-Commerce.
She has a successful track record with both start-ups and established international companies increasing revenue and developing innovative marketing techniques.
She has owned and developed several national franchises focused on health and fitness.
